Public Works Technician - Full Time ONLINE APPLICATION The City of West Bend is accepting applications for a Public Works Technician I who must be able to deal courteously with the public, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, have physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance, work flexible hours, and available to work overtime as dictated. Positive communications skills, team and goal orientated, and possess a willingness to accept job assignments needed. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and/or the ability to obtain a Class B CDL (Class A preferred) and a good driving record. Mechanical, Concrete, Asphalt, Snow plowing, and Storm Sewer experience desirable. Welding and fabricating experience a plus. Must be available for snow plowing 24 hrs. a day when required. Candidates will need to pass a background check, physical and drug screening. The City of West Bend offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including health and life insurance. Starting salary will be $23.50-24.24/hr. Open until filled.
