The Sheriff’s Office strives to provide a safe, secure, and crime-free community. The Office is divided into five different divisions: Administration provides direction, coordination, and control necessary to accomplish the office’s goals. Communications handles all emergency calls and is responsible for paging and radio dispatching for nearly 80 emergency services agencies in Marathon County. Corrections is responsible for the operations of the jail and juvenile detention facility. Investigations is responsible for conducting criminal investigations within the jurisdiction of the Sheriff’s Office.
