Our History Troy Lanz founded Lanz Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc. in 2002 after 16 years of experience working in the HVAC industry. In those first few years, we provided Champaign-Urbana and the surrounding area with residential heating and cooling systems. We added our service department in 2005, soon followed by our plumbing division, duct cleaning service, commercial HVAC services, refrigeration, and most recently, underground solutions. Today, Lanz Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc. is a leading heating and AC contractor, employing over 90 people with a fleet of about 70 trucks, with continuing growth every year.
