In exchange I was allowed to skate for free, which in my mind was the better end of the deal because I loved the idea of being a disc jockey and tinkering with various lighting effects to complement music. This established a great relationship between us and over the next few years I was put on the payroll and helped Skate land develop their audio and lighting systems.
