FLEET MECHANIC-Full Time ONLINE APPLICATION The City of West Bend is accepting applications for a full time qualified automotive, truck and heavy equipment mechanic. The successful applicant should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a journeyman level automotive, truck and heavy equipment mechanic. Physical ability to do heavy repair work, ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, diesel engine and hydraulic problems. Must have computer knowledge. High School diploma or equivalent. ASE and A/C certifications helpful. Valid WI driver’s license required and valid CLASS A CDL license required or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment. Must have the ability to provide your own tools. Starting wage range of $27.00-$27.81 per hour and working hours are typically 6:30am - 2:30 pm. This position may be assigned additional duties in the Public Works Department and must be available to work overtime when necessary. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
